Center for Research on Child Wellbeing research and activities are aimed at informing practitioners and policymakers as they develop regional and national programs and policies affecting children, youth, and families.
The Future of Children journal and Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study publish a series of issue briefs describing key research from their projects, along with the policy implications of findings. Each issue of The Future of Children is accompanied by a policy brief. Research briefs highlighting key findings from the Fragile Families and Child Wellbeing Study are published throughout the year.
CRCW co-sponsors events and conferences with other centers at the Woodrow Wilson School, including the Education Research Section and Policy Institute for the Region (PRIOR). Past conferences have focused on combating children's obesity through after-school programs and strategies for using technology to improve children's learning and development. Last fall the Center co-sponsored a workshop on juvenile justice.
